Afternoon Sky/Lisa Gregory/Delight In Everything

Dziękuję, że dzisiaj odwiedzacie  naszego bloga żeby zobaczyć co takiego wykonałam z przepięknej kolekcji Aftrnoon Sky. Zaczęłam od obszycia papierów zieloną nicią. W ostatnim poście pokazywałam Wam pracę, w której wykorzystałam zdjęcie mojego wnuka. Tym razem oprawiłam zdjęcie wnuczki. To są bliźnięta. W przyszłości planuję stworzyć podwójny układ właśnie  papierów Aftrnoon Sky. Bardzo przypadła mi ta kolekcja do gustu, praca z nią daje mi radość. Zachwycają mnie w niej te niesamowite zielenie i błękity.   

Thank you for visiting the blog today to see what I have created with the beautiful collection Afternoon Sky. I started out machine sewing around the paper using an olive green thread. In my last post, I used a photo of my grandson. This post, I am using a photo of my granddaughter. They are twins. I wanted to create a double page layout using Afternoon Sky. I really enjoyed working with Afternoon Sky. The blues and greens in the papers are gorgeous. 

Kwiaty wykonałam z foamiranu, który ozdobiłam dodatkowo stemplami. Na środki nałożyłam zielony Flower Soft. Bardzo lubię liście z arkusza nr 5, które dodałam do moich kwiatów. Dodatkowo dłutkiem kulkowym leciutko je powyginałam.
I have created flowers using Foamiran and a flower stamp to create my flowers. For the middle I used some green Flower Soft.  I am in love with the Leaves 5 that I tucked into the flowers. I placed them on my foam board, and using a ball stylus, I added dimension to them. 

Jestem również fanką ramek. Wybrałam jedną z arkuszy do wycinania i umieściłam w mojej pracy. W środku ramki włożyłam zdjęcie, które podwyższyłam na tekturkach. Użyłam również Doors and Windows 1 oraz 2 oraz kawałki papierów z kolekcji Afternoon Sky 01/02 jako tła do zdjęcia. 

I am also in love with all of the frames. I used one of the frames in the frames 1 collection. I cut out the middle part of the frame, and mounted my photo on the paper, backed it with some corrugated cardboard, and set it back in the middle. This way it is a perfect fit. I used the Doors and Windows 1 and 2 and a piece of Afternoon Sky 01/02 to mat under the photos. 

Dodałam też trochę kwiatów z Afternoon Sky, które "podrasowałam" z pomocą dłutka kulkowego. Siedzenie i wycinanie kwiatów i liści jest dla mnie bardzo relaksujące. Wycinam całą stronę i przechowuję w plastikowych torebkach. Dzięki temu są gotowe do użycia, gdy ich potrzebuję.
I also tucked in some of the Afternoon Sky flowers. I added dimension using a ball stylus to fluff out the petals. It is very relaxing for me to sit and cut out all of the flowers and leaves. I cut out the whole page, and separate them in a plastic bag. This way they are ready to use when I need them.
