Lisa Gregory Guest Design/Vintage Garden Collection

 Wow. This is my last project as a Guest Designer. I would like to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to showcase Scrap and Me paper collections as a Guest Designer. It has been a pleasure working along all of the Scrap and Me designers on these beautiful paper collections. I feel very honored that I was chosen and given a chance. Thank you Anna Karpinska and team!! I hope to do this in the future again. 

Wow. To mój ostatni projekt jako gościnna projektantka. Z całego serca dziękuję za możliwość pracy z kolekcjami papierów Scrap and Me, która była czysta przyjemnością.  Dziękuję Annie Karpińskiej i zespołowi!! 

For this layout I used the gorgeous Vintage Garden collection. The papers in this collection are full of beautiful roses and flowers in reds and pinks, with touches of green. I used 2 papers to complete this layout. Vintage Garden 01/02 and Vintage Garden 09/10. I started by cutting a square out of the middle of the 09/10 paper and put the middle cut out aside. I mounted the outer piece on a 12x12 piece on corrugated cardboard. I then cut a square out of the 01/02 paper slightly  larger than the piece I cut out before. I mounted that piece on a piece of corrugated cardboard. With the cut out piece I had set aside from the 09/10 paper, I used a border punch to cut the lacy pieces to frame the inner square. I then mounted the smaller piece onto the bigger piece creating the background for my layout. This gives it a bit of dimension. I mounted my photo onto a piece of corrugated cardboard as well, and placed it offset slightly on the middle square. Then the fun began. Embellishing!!! 

Do tego projektu wykorzystałam przepiękną kolekcję Vintage Garden. Papiery z tej kolekcji pełne są pięknych róż i kwiatów w czerwieni i różu z akcentami zieleni. Do wykonania tego układu użyłam 2 kartek. Vintage Garden 01.02 i Vintage Garden 09.10. 

I fussy cut the entire Vintage Garden Flowers 1 cut out sheet. I also used the scraps that were left from sheet 01/02 and 09/10 to die cut the lacy pink leaves, and did some rolled rosettes with the scraps of red that I have. I fussy cut a few butterflies from the Butterflies Cutting Sheet. I also love the tiny ladybugs on the Flowers 1 cut out sheet. They are so sweet.

I die cut the word Beauty using what little left I had from the red paper. It was just enough for a title. I also used a bit of the lace border punch to place under the photo. I think I used up every bit of scrap I had! The photo is my granddaughter Charlotte. She just loves taking photos in the front of my red door.  

Napis pochodzi również z papieru ze wspomnianej kolekcji. Na zdjęciu moja wnuczka Charlotte. 

Here is another close up of the opposite corner of the layout. I love clustering the flowers, leaves, and butterflies and ladybugs. The whole page feels like a walk in a gorgeous rose garden. For most of the cut outs, I sprayed them lightly, and used a ball stylus and rubber mat to give them a bit of dimension. They all pop off of the page slightly. Some scrappers prefer a flat page to put in albums, but I like a bit of bulk to my layouts. They look beautiful in a shadow box. It makes a beautiful keepsake.
